By Aaron Beck
Hard telling what dearly departed Larry Paoletti would think if he
knew bands with dubious names such as Poop House Reilly or Estee
Louder were playing the campus institution he started in the early
1920s. Larry's always has been a bastion for free expression,
and the theme continues on Saturday nights with live music from a
wide array of campus musicmakers. Don't expect polish or
perfect sightlines, but do expect intimate, loose, and sometimes
great performances.
It's also the home of the
Poetry Forum's open-mike nights at 7 p.m. Mondays.
